This eLearning will  help you understand some of the steps your museum needs to take to become a more inclusive organisation. By completing all six steps in the journey, you will develop your knowledge and understanding of how to embed inclusive practices within your museum to effect positive change. In turn, you will better understand your museum and its ability to make a difference.

Who is the eLearning for? 

This eLearning is for staff and volunteers, including trustees of museum and heritage organisations who already understand:

  • the core concepts of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI)
  • the Equality Act 2010
  • protected characteristics and wider characteristics beyond this e.g. socio-economic status

and are looking to take their next steps to welcome a wider range of people to their museum.
