Deadline Extended – SW Museum Skills Training Needs Survey 2019-22

Abigail Millican, 21.05.2019

The deadline for the South West Museum Development SW Museum Skills: Training Needs Survey 2019-22 has been extended!

If you have not yet completed the survey, you have until Friday 24th May to share your training priorities.

This survey is for staff and volunteers in museums in the South West to feed back their priorities for our SW Museum Skills programme. The results from the survey will directly inform the training topics delivered in the 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 programmes.

About the SW Museum Skills programme

The programme uses expertise within the South West Museum Development team and our partners to deliver accessible and relevant training for those working in or volunteering in museums across the South West region. Subsequently, skills and knowledge are up to date and organisations have the opportunity to develop their workforce and operations.

SW Museum skills training is either completely or partly subsidised by Arts Council England and supporting Local Authorities. Sessions broadly focus on the three Accreditation standard requirements – Organisational health, Managing collections and Users and their experiences.

Complete the SW Museum Skills: Training Needs Survey 2019-22 to let us know what you want from the SW Museum Skills programme.

Deadline Friday 24th May.
