Wednesday 4th March 2020  10.00-16.30

Dorset History Centre, Dorchester

This will be an informative and practical day for beginners, covering the basics of marketing in a museum setting. Using case studies from the sector we will cover marketing essentials. This will include understanding your audiences, articulating your offer, identifying opportunities to communicate what you do, creating effective content and discovering some of the most popular engagement tools used by museum marketers.

This is for museum staff and volunteers who have limited marketing experience, and who would like a session on the basics. This session is aimed at beginners, and we don’t expect this to be suitable for existing Marketing Officers or Marketing Managers.

When booking through Eventbrite, please ensure you answer all mandatory fields and tick the “I agree to the above additional terms” box to ensure the ’Complete Registration’ button is activated.
