About the session:

This course will provide attendees with a strong understanding of Trust and Foundation fundraising, and will include:

  • An overview of the Trust funding landscape
  • Where to find the money
  • Tips for conducting research and engaging with funders
  • Writing a strong Case for Support and Trust application
  • Tailoring your message
  • Application writing in light of Covid-19

The content uses examples and case studies from the museum sector to demonstrate how small organisations can stand out and showcase their relevance to funders.

Who should attend?

This course is designed for members of staff and volunteers who are active in fundraising or communications for their museum. Prospective attendees are welcome to have a foundation of knowledge of how fundraising works at their museum, but individuals who have not formally fundraised before are welcome to attend.
