This two-hour online training event is designed for museum trustees, staff or volunteers, from museums already invited or likely to be invited to submit an accreditation return in 2025, or currently Working Towards Accreditation. Learn about the 2018 museum accreditation standard, and when and how to prepare your application. Speakers Philip Claris and Tim Burge (Technical Accreditation Advisers, MDSW), Vicki Hopson (Relationship Manager, ACE) and Anna Rhodes (Collections Trust) will provide guidance and key information for all applicants, and highlight the support and resources available to you. They will answer your questions about accreditation in this live online Zoom session.

Who should attend? 

This session is for Trustees, staff or volunteers – everyone who may be involved in preparing an accreditation return or application, whether as a first time applicant or as a refresher.

What will you learn? 

Delegates will:

  • Understand the key requirements of the 2018 Accreditation Standard and Spectrum 5.1
  • Learn how to prepare for and submit an accreditation return or application
