SW Museum Skills: Bite Size

Bite Size training is delivered through existing county or district geographic museum groups and networks and typically lasts between 1 and 3 hours. This training is open to all delegates attending the networks, extending beyond Accredited museums to include community heritage and archive organisations.

Museum Development Officers (MDO) and where relevant the network Chair, in consultation with the museum group, are invited to select from a pre-determined menu of topics across the key themes. To ensure you are able to contribute to the decision making process network members need to be signed up to their network mailing list to ensure you receive relevant communications.

Depending on the size of the network the MDO/Network Chair will be allocated either one or two topics per annum. Networks can request additional sessions to their allocation at a charge of £250 for 3 hours. Requests must come from the network chair and the local MDO. Our 2018/19 menu can be found here: SWMD Bite Size Menu 2018-19

If you have any questions about Bite Size training or wish to book an additional session for your network please contact Roz Bonnet, Programme & Projects Officer.
