We are a team of museum development experts who offer specialist support services to museums throughout the South West.

Our team has a wide range of expertise; including audience development, collection care, volunteering, digital engagement and business development.

Our structure

Our central team is based at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. Here we work on developing our full programme, deploy the wider team across the South West and process data on audiences and the wider museum sector.

Museum Development Officers (MDOs) work on the ground with museums and are located throughout the South West. These individuals are very knowledgeable about their local area and on all aspects of development.

We have a dedicated Accreditation Technical Advisor who works with museums and our local MDOs to support museums in the process of Accreditation. We work with museums from the initial eligibilty stage right across to post application and maintaining the standard.
