With the Cost of Living Crisis starting to bite, this month we’re launching our Museum Energy Management: Preparing for the Winter session with energy management specialists, Pilio, to deliver online workshops that explore low and no cost interventions to help save energy in preparation for winter.
In addition, we reveal that we are delighted to be working with the OnBoard programme to recruit and support two young people on to our board. From January 2023 – 24, the two new board members will receive bespoke training and support to bring these young people’s insight and expertise into SWMD.
We are also excited for Kids in Museums #TakeoverDay, Sporting Heritage Conference 2022, and update you on Collections Trust‘s new cataloguing guidance.
