Thank you to all the museums and museum professionals who have already expressed an interest in our new project Travelling Together, which will help museums across the South West, to development their diversity and inclusion policies and practices. In this issue of our newsletter you can find out about the support on offer and more information on all the different ways you can still get involved.
We’re also celebrating all the museums who were awarded one of our Small Grants for Change and Improvement in May. Following a competitive round of applications, we awarded nearly £58,000 to 15 museums across the South West! The projects funded will support at least nine freelance contracts and provide numerous other opportunities for suppliers local to the museums.
The June newsletter is also an urgent reminder that there are only a limited number of places left on our SW Museum Skills summer sessions. Make sure you book one of those remining spaces, or if you want to attend a fully booked session sign up for the waiting list as spaces may become available closer to the time.
