We hope that you are feeling reenergised as we enter 2024, and are looking forward to our upcoming Winter SW Museum Skills programme. There are a limited number of places still available, take a look at our skills training webpage to browse our opportunities.

Our dedicated cohort of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Champions, one of the driving forces behind our Travelling Together project, have curated a wide-ranging series of peer networks. In this newsletter we tell you how you can book onto them and what topics will be covered.

In this newsletter is also your opportunity to register your interest for the Museum Development England national skills needs survey, launching in February this year. The survey is open to Accredited and Working Towards Accreditation museums and will directly inform our training offer for 2024-2026.

We also introduce Tim Burge, who will be taking on the Technical Accreditation Advice role for this year, and if you are certified Carbon Literate then there are further training opportunities available for you this winter.

In this month’s newsletter you can also discover new grants for museums, sector updates and specialist advice. If you’re not already a subscriber, please sign up to the newsletter and you’ll receive our monthly update direct to your inbox.
